為了向不同用者包括殘疾人士和長者提供相同的網上資訊，社福機構須要建立無障礙的網站。但相信很多社福機構的朋友都曾於開發網站或更新過程中遇到不少困難。很多時並非機構忽略無障礙網頁設計的要求，而是根本不知如何入手，包括怎樣選擇一間合適的網站開發公司，如何要求及監察開發過程達至機構的要求。 為了讓社福界的同工對無障礙網頁有初的步認識，講座會介紹以下內容︰(1)萬維網聯盟的無障礙網頁內容指引2.0 (2)(Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.0) 的基本概念 (3)無障礙網頁的趨勢 (4)全失明與弱視人士的不同需要 (5)其他殘疾人士上網的特殊需要 (6)如何精明挑選網站開發公司 (7)人手測試網站無障礙程度的重要性 |

Hosted by the Internet Society Hong Kong, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corp., Cyberport and supported by goIPv6 Consortium, “goIPv6 Now!” seminar was successfully held on 11 July. Highlighting the actual IPv6 cases deployed for Hong Kong SAR Government, Hong Kong Observatory, the seminar also signified the launch of the first goIPv6 tunnel service in Hong Kong and kick-start to accept registrations on-site. Nearly 120 participants came to the seminar and support this event |

The main theme of the event is big data: Cloud – scale your application to million users.
