Visionaries Connected – Entrepreneurship Conference (15-16 Jan)
The event aims toconnect aspiring entrepreneurs with community stakeholders in building a dynamic entrepreneurial community, and promote Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation with “Do Well Do Good” mindset and drive the continuous development of local entrepreneurial ecosystem through inspirational talks, workshops and networking sessions, as well as encouraging active participation from the community.

Cyberport Creative Micro Fund & Cyberport Incubation Programme (Dec)
The scheme is a seed fund set up to encourage innovation and creativity by sponsoring high potential creative and innovative start-up projects or business concepts in ICT-related areas. Provision of seed funding will be awarded to the successful applicants in a 6-month project period for proof of concepts and for developing prototype products.

Scaling Bitcoin Phase 2 (6-7 Dec)
Workshops aims at collecting technical criteria, present proposals and evaluate technical materials and data with academic discipline and analysis that fully considers the complex tradeoffs between decentralization, utility, security and operational realities, through the process enhance everyone’s understanding of the technical properties of Bitcoin to help foster an inclusive, transparent, and informed process.

智能手機應用程式產業在本港發展成熟,但要進入內地市場殊不容易。文化差異和用家行為模式上的不同等等的原因,構成各種窒礙。有見及此,主辦單位推行一個為期兩年的計劃,以助業界進入內地市場。是次研討會將是整個兩年計劃的最後一部分,旨在透過本地業界人才於內地營商的成功經驗分享,繼續推廣「香港製造Apps展示廊」及鼓勵業界進軍內地市場。

The Awards aim to actively promote outstanding .hk websites, and recognise the remarkable achievements of all outstanding .hk websites from different sectors. Since its inception in 2009, the Awards has been developed as a platform for business, organisations, the Government and local entities to share their best practices for .hk website development. Objectives include:
- Encourage the use of good practices and design in website development to increase competitiveness and maximise the benefits brought by the Internet to the society
- Recognise excellent use of technology and .hk or .香港 domain names to develop outstanding websites
- Cultivate the spirit of best practice sharing of .hk and .香港 website design and development across the community

Cyber Security and Digital Forensic Conference (1 Dec)
The role of Digital Forensics should not be limited to Investigation. It could be used to enhance the overall security level and the information security governance of an organisation too. At present, most users of digital forensic tools are employees of law enforcement agencies, law firms, big accounting firms, and data recovery companies. There are very few commercial corporations have digital forensics incorporate into their day to day governance due to this misunderstanding or lack of knowledge. It is the aims of this conference to bridge this gap and to increase the cyber security and forensic awareness for leaders of enterprise and organizations.
