New Smart ID Technical Seminar

In Jan of 2015, Security Bureau did a briefing on Next Generation Smart Identity Card System (SMARTICS-2) to the Panel on Security of the Legislative Council. Next Generation Smart Identity Card will use both Smart Chip and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies. However, public raised out a lot of concerns on security and privacy issues on RFID. In this seminar, the Smart Card and RFID and Security experts will let you understand those technologies as well as the security and privacy concerns on SMARTICS-2.
